​MyPhotoClub (MPC)
for Novice, Intermediate and Advanced Grades

In 2025, the method of entry to the bi-monthly competitions will be through MyPhotoClub.  Only members wishing to enter the graded club competitions need to sign up.  If you would like to enter the competitions this year, in Novice, Intermediate or Advanced Grade, please follow these steps:

ACCESSING THE SITE:
  1. Go to https://myphotoclub.com.au/ 
  2. Create an account.  A number of members already have an MPC account, so this does not to be done again.
  3. Send an email to [email protected] to show you have created an account. Advise which grade you would like to enter:  Novice, Intermediate or Advanced
  4. You will be added as a member.

PREPARING YOUR PHOTOS:
  1. Resize your photos if necessary so they have a maximum width of 1920 pixels and maximum height of 1080 pixels.
    This is smaller than what has been used previously.  There are many ways to adjust the file size.  Give it a go and if you have any difficulty let us know so we can help.
  2. Maximum file size is 3MB.

ENTERING PHOTOS INTO THE COMPETITION:
  1. Go to https://myphotoclub.com.au/ 
  2. Click on 'Mackay Camera Group' on the left side panel
  3. Click on the grey 'Members' tab at the top of the page
  4. Click 'Enter Competitions and Activities' on the fly down tab
    NOTE:  All the folders for the year have been created. You will see that there are two tabs for each month - one for the open category and one for the theme of that month.  You can go ahead and enter for later months if you wish, and you can change your entries as often as you wish, until midnight of the closing date (be aware of daylight saving time).
  5. Go to the competition you wish to enter and click 'Enter'
  6. Click on one of the tabs for this month (either open or theme category)
  7. Click "Choose File' under entry #1
  8. Navigate to where your prepared file is stored.  Click on the file then click open
  9. Type the title of the image.  NOTE:  The title that is typed, MUST match the name on the JPG
  10. Click 'Submit'
  11. If you want to submit another image into this category, repeat steps 6 to 9
  12. If you want to submit into another category, either click the back button at the top of your screen to return to the previous page OR
  13. A second method is to go back to step 4 (click on the grey 'Members' tab at the top of the page) then continue through the steps from there.
  14. Continue entering photos until you have entered a MAXIMUM OF FOUR IMAGES for the month.
    NOTE:  The four images can be a combination of open and theme in whatever you choose 
                 eg:  1 in open and 3 in theme; 2 in open and 2 in theme; 4 in open etc

HOW TO ALTER YOUR ENTRIES:
  1. Go to https://myphotoclub.com.au/
  2. Click on 'Mackay Camera Group' on the left side panel
  3. Click on the grey 'Members' tab at the top of the page
  4. Click 'Enter Competitions and Activities' on the fly down tab
  5. Go to the competition containing the entry you want to change and click 'Enter'
  6. If you want to change the image, click 'delete'
  7. A message will pop up, click OK
  8. A second message will pop up; click OK
  9. Enter the new image
  10. You can change entries right up until the closing time each month
